雀心 - Janshin ("the game") is an independently developed riichi mahjong web game. By creating an account or otherwise playing, you agree to these Terms.
You create a profile with a display name and password. You're responsible for keeping your password confidential — one person, one account. Don't impersonate another player or share accounts to manipulate rankings or stats.
Don't use the game to harass other players, cheat or exploit bugs for an unfair advantage, or attempt to disrupt the service for others.
Janshin is provided free of charge, as-is, with no uptime guarantee. Features — including account sign-up — may change or be removed at any time.
An account may be removed for violating these Terms. You can ask to have your account and its data deleted at any time — see the Privacy Policy for how.
Questions about these Terms can be directed to the developer, Teruki Sato, through the game's usual support channel.

Your display name; a salted hash of your password (never the plain text); your chosen icon, title, nameplate skin, and voice theme; your coin balance and the cosmetics you've bought; your game history, stats, and achievements; and your social data: your friends list, friend requests, and the players you've recently played with; and any messages you send through the Contact form, along with your display name, the game version, and your browser type. No email address or other personal information is collected.
Solely to run the game: logging you in, showing your stats and history, and powering friends, invites, and the store. Your display name, icon, title, and nameplate are shown to other players in games, friends lists, and leaderboards, along with your leaderboard stats.
The game sets no cookies. It stores a "stay logged in" token and your settings (sound, music, rules, and appearance) in your browser's local storage, and briefly keeps in-progress game info in session storage so you can rejoin after a page reload. These are needed for the game to work and are never used for tracking. No analytics, ads, or third-party trackers.
Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, so your browser sends your IP address to Google when the page loads (see Google's privacy policy). The game is hosted on Railway, which logs IP addresses and request details for security and operations; these logs are kept for a limited time.
You can ask to have your account and its data deleted at any time by sending an account request from About > Contact while logged in.
This policy may be updated as the game evolves; the "Last updated" date above will change whenever it does.
Found a bug, have a suggestion, or want your account deleted? Send a message here. Your display name, the game version, and your browser type are attached so the report can be followed up.
Your progress in this match will be lost.
